A modern rendition of the saree, this ensemble draws inspiration from pre-colonial India. The free-flowing palla falls behind, revealing delicate handcrafted knotting and fringes, while pleats in the skirt feature a border of meticulous hand-done cutwork and needlework lace.
Woven from Eri Silk in pale blush rose, the handspun weft takes several hours to produce, creating a textile with natural thermal properties that keeps the wearer cool in summer and warm in winter. A concealed side zipper and hook ensure ease of wear, woven over 35 hours.
