Our practice

November Noon emerges from a lineage of the Shah family, renowned for safeguarding the tradition of Varanasi silk for over a century. Our atelier preserves traditional techniques passed down through generations, such as Jala, Naka and Jacquard weaving.

We experiment with unique yarn blends like wool, silk, metallic accents, and space-dyed yarns. Sometimes, these are directly woven into panels on the loom, creating intricate, engineered pieces that are a hallmark of Varanasi craftsmanship. Each November Noon garment detail is enriched with raw materials and hours of meticulous handwork.

PHILOSOPHY

We are dedicated to weaving ethical practices into the very fabric of our work. This means ensuring dignified and safe working conditions for our artisans, employing environmentally conscious practices, and collaborating with suppliers who share our values.

Our holistic approach isn't just about crafting beautiful garments, it's about preserving tradition with low-tech innovation while creating a positive impact into the world.
