001/002/ 003// Unburdened by Delhi’s relentless rhythm, November Noon found a creative sanctuary at Farm8 to present its Autumn-Winter 2024 collection, ‘Permanence’. Nestled amidst turmeric plants, fruit trees, and beehives, the bamboo-hybrid architecture points towards a regenerative future, where traditional materials find new expression in contemporary design. Gravel pathways crunch underfoot, subtly signalling presence to snakes before encounter. Against termite-bitten structures, winding beans, and mounds of clay, the garments take on the same language of change, where beauty persists even as form evolves.

004/005// Both the disciplines are deeply committed to preservation. Farm8 revives Delhi’s natural ecosystem through permaculture, while November Noon is dedicated to preserving Varanasi’s handwoven textile legacy. To mark the collaboration, founder Rashmi Kaleka shaped the day through thoughtful gestures, from harvesting locally sourced ingredients and simple floral arrangements to preparing and hosting a shared lunch that reflected the spirit of the land.

006// Vivan Sundaram’s unfinished sculptures offered visitors a glimpse into the premises, a work in progress, taking an unpredictable life of its own. There is a noticeable absence of urgency here. Harvests follow availability rather than demand. Plants are allowed to wilt. Nothing is forced into completion before its time. In this setting, November Noon’s Permanence finds a natural extension, opening a dialogue between two practices shaped by patience, process, and low intervention.
